What is the San Francisco Mayor's Committee for the Employment of Persons with Disabilities?

The Mayor's Committee is the local extension of the President's Committee for Employment of Persons with Disabilities that was established in 1947. We are a collaboration of public and private employers, and community-based organizations that are dedicated to creating awareness and opportunities for the employment of persons with disabilities.

We accomplish this through several different events throughout the year. These include an Employer Recognition Breakfast, Youth Scholarships, brown-bag lunches to provide training and information to employers, and a Career Fair during National Disability Awareness Month in October to connect employers and potential job seekers.
